Crafted in a compact, round basket shape for an easy summer attitude, this small Woody basket is hand-woven from partly upcycled materials by independent craftswomen in Kenya. The basket has a drawstring fastening and a long leather strap for shoulder and cross-body wear. Echoing the Maison's Woody mule, the line's signature Chloé logo ribbon details the natural fiber and creates a wide handle.
Marking the start of a long-term commitment to environmentally and socially responsible production, the basket was made in partnership with the World Fair Trade Organization as part of the first fair-trade luxury collection. The WFTO Guarantee System is an international verification model focused on social enterprises that put the interests of people, workers & artisans, and the planet first. They impact one million livelihoods, 74% of which are women. Each basket is signed by the craftswoman who made it.
